Cookie Policy

HuntForge uses as little browser storage as possible. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking and no analytics services are used. Below we explain what is stored and why.

For the application to work, HuntForge stores values in your browser’s local storage, including:

• hf_lang — your language selection
• hf_age18 — your age confirmation (18+)
• Hunt-Key and e-mail as well as your account’s plan/role
• device fingerprint (hf_fp_id)
• AI keys (OpenAI/Anthropic), if you provide them
• your hunts, cached data (cache) and overlay/OBS settings

These values generally remain in your browser and are not set for tracking purposes. Exceptions: for PRO your hunt data is transmitted to our server for cloud synchronisation, and when you use the AI features requests are sent with your key to OpenAI or Anthropic (see the privacy policy). In addition, external services (incl. Cloudflare, Google Fonts, jsDelivr, cdnjs, Amazon) may receive connection data when loading.

The website uses Cloudflare for security and bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile). Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies, for example to tell humans and bots apart and to secure the connection. These cookies are required for secure operation and are not used for advertising or profiling.

When you complete a purchase, our payment provider Payrexx AG may set cookies that are necessary to carry out and secure the transaction. Details can be found in Payrexx’s own privacy information.

HuntForge does not use Google Analytics, advertising networks or cross-site tracking. We create no advertising profile about you.

You can delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings and block cookies. Please note: if you clear the 18+ confirmation, the age prompt will appear again; if you clear the language selection, the language resets. More on data processing can be found in our Privacy Policy.
